Privacy Policy
Ingenuity Labs ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through ingenuitylabs.ca and related tools, why we collect it, how we use and store it, and the choices you have.
1. What we collect
- Contact and booking information: name, email, and any details you provide when booking a call, session, or workshop through our booking tools (Google Calendar booking links) or completing a payment through Stripe.
- AI Readiness Score assessment responses: your answers to the self-assessment quiz, and, if you book a related readiness call, notes from that call. Your responses and contact details are stored in our internal CRM (built in Notion) and are used for internal sales follow-up and analytics, as described below.
- Newsletter signup information: first name, last name, company name, and email address, if you subscribe.
- Payment information: payment card and billing details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store your full payment card details ourselves.
- Event registration information: name and email collected through Lu.ma when you register for an AI Coworking Session or webinar.
- Website usage data: standard technical data such as pages visited and general location (city/region level), collected through our website hosting and analytics tools.
- Session content: if you attend a private training session, workshop, or coworking session, we may take notes to track your goals and progress. We do not record sessions without telling you first, and we do not use anything you share publicly (as a testimonial, case study, or otherwise) without your specific consent.
2. Why we collect it
We use your information to: respond to booking requests and deliver the Service you signed up for; process payments through Stripe; send you the newsletter, if you've subscribed; personalize training sessions and organizational engagements to your actual business and goals; follow up on AI Readiness Score assessment results, including sales outreach if your results suggest our Services could help your organization; and improve our programs based on feedback, including aggregated, de-identified feedback (such as average session ratings) and, for CRM records, individual follow-up.
3. Who we share it with
- Stripe processes payments on our behalf and has its own privacy policy governing payment data.
- Notion is used as our internal CRM to store assessment responses, newsletter signups, contact details, and sales follow-up records.
- Google Calendar / Google Workspace is used for booking and scheduling.
- Lu.ma is used for event registration for AI Coworking Sessions and webinars.
- Resend is used to send the newsletter, if you subscribe.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share identifiable client information (names, business details, session content) with AI Fundamentals (AI Edge) or AI for Executives; those are independently operated programs with their own privacy policies, and any data you provide directly to them is governed by their terms, not ours. We may disclose information if required by law.
4. AI tools and your data
Some of our work involves AI tools (such as Claude or other AI assistants) as part of session delivery. We do not upload your confidential business information to AI tools without your knowledge, and we work with you to determine what information is appropriate to share with AI systems as part of any organizational engagement. This is, in fact, part of what we teach: helping you make good decisions about what data belongs where.
5. How long we keep your information
We keep booking, session, and client information for as long as needed to deliver the Service and for a reasonable period afterward for our own business records (such as tax and accounting purposes). Newsletter subscriber information is kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to what we're required to retain for legal or accounting reasons.
6. Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. As a Canadian business, we handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable British Columbia privacy law.
7. Cookies and website analytics
This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand overall traffic, such as which pages are visited and roughly how many people visit. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or any client-side storage, and it does not track individuals across other websites. We do not run Google Analytics or any other cookie-based tracking or advertising tool on this site. Because no tracking cookies are set, no cookie consent banner is used; the booking, payment, and newsletter tools described in Section 3 may set their own functional cookies once you interact with them directly, governed by their own privacy policies.
8. Children's privacy
Our Services are intended for business owners, professionals, and organizations. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent version.
10. Contact
